Meet Our Founder

Dr. Manjunath Seetharaman

Dr. Manjunath Seetharaman

Associate Veterinarian/Retired

Dr. Manjunath Seetharaman graduated in 1977 as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Madras Veterinary College. In 1979, he graduated with his Masters in Veterinary Theriogenology. He became an associate at Ansonia Westfield Veterinary Hospital in 1983, and bought the practice in 1987. He is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association, Fairfield County Veterinary Medical Association and New Haven County Veterinary Medical Association. He and his wife, Vinita, have been residents of Orange since 1984 and are the proud parents of two children, Pooja and Shiva Manjunath. Dr. Manj enjoys playing golf, tennis, and travelling in his free time.

Owner & Veterinarian

Dr. Pooja Manjunath graduated in May 2012 as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University. She has followed in the footsteps of her father and grandfather in pursuit of her love for veterinary medicine. She is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association, Fairfield County Veterinary Medical Association and New Haven County Veterinary Medical Association. She began working under the guidance of her father at Ansonia Westfield Veterinary Hospital in June 2012. Her hobbies include dancing, tennis, volleyball, and travelling with family and friends whenever she gets the chance! She has two kitties at home named Bubbles and Fizzy whom she loves to pieces!

Associate Veterinarian

Adam went to veterinary school at the Univeristy of Warmia and Mazury in Poland where he received his doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. He joined our practice as an associate officially in May of 2020. He is active in the Fairfield County Veterinary Medical Association, Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association, Polish Veterinary Medical Association and American Veterinary Medical Association. He has a dog named Remy at home who enjoys hiking with her dad. In his free time Adam enjoys staying active, hiking, running, biking, camping, fishing, volleyball, tennis, and driving on his motorcycle! Adam specializes in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, laser therapy, medical manipulation, and physical stimulation and has been a wonderful addition to our team!

Vinita joined Ansonia Westfield Veterinary Hospital and began working with her husband around 1987. She is the proud mother of her two children, Pooja and Shiva. In her free time she is an artist and an avid reader. We are proud to have her on our team!

Practice Manager

Frank began his journey in veterinary medicine as a TA in 2009 and quickly set his sights on learning more. His dedication led him to climb the ranks—becoming a technician, lead tech, supervisor, and eventually a practice manager. He enjoys the veterinary field for its blend of laughter, challenges, and everyday adventures, and takes pride in delivering high-quality care to every patient.

Outside of work, Frank enjoys traveling, writing, staying active, and playing video games. He shares his home with his beloved English Bulldog, Lola.

Veterinary Technician Supervisor

Faith’s interest in veterinary medicine began at a young age while watching veterinarians care for animals on a friend’s farm. She has a passion for educating clients and takes pride in making a difference in the lives of animals—whether in small ways or big ones. Faith also enjoys expanding her knowledge and learning new skills in the field.

In her free time, she loves traveling to different states, hiking through state parks, reading, painting, and listening to music. At home, she shares her life with her American Bully named Bjorn, a tabby cat named Freyja, a Flemish Giant rabbit named Angus, and her toddler, Duncan.

Veterinary Technician

Jason is one of our veterinary technicians here at Ansonia Seymour Veterinary Hospital. He has been in the practice since January 2021 and attended Ansonia High School. Jason takes pride in caring for the animals, keeping cleanliness of the hospital, assisting in surgeries, and learning new things in the field. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and participating in sports.

Veterinary Technician

Shae is one of our veterinary technicians here at Ansonia Seymour Veterinary Hospital. She has been in the practice for 2 months and attended the University of New haven with a Bachelors in Marine Biology. Shae prides herself in getting to learn all kinds of personalities of animals and creating special bonds. In her free time, she enjoys singing dancing, painting, and spending time with her friends and pets.

Veterinary Technician

Paige has always had a deep love for animals. One of her favorite parts of working in veterinary medicine is building meaningful bonds—not only with patients but with their families as well. At ASVH, she values the opportunity to care for and heal animals while making a real difference in their lives.

In her free time, Paige enjoys spending time with friends and family, and getting out into nature with her dogs. Her own animal family includes two dogs, Bailey and Mac; four birds, Bebe, Fu, Simon, and Malibu; and two rabbits, Annabelle and Theodore.

Veterinary Technician

Amanda graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. Her passion for veterinary medicine began while volunteering and fostering for local rescues, where she discovered how rewarding it is to make a difference in the lives of animals. She loves the field for the way it constantly challenges and encourages her to grow.

In her free time, Amanda enjoys line dancing, volunteering with rescue organizations, and spending time with friends. Her furry family includes a Pitbull named Kady, a Chihuahua named Spector, a Beagle mix named Percy, a domestic shorthair named Patty, and a tortoiseshell cat named Lily.

Veterinary Technician

Michelle has loved animals for as long as she can remember. Her passion deepened while working at a pet store, where she had the chance to assist a veterinarian and gain hands-on experience—administering medications, helping with exams, and soaking up as much knowledge as possible.

She loves working in veterinary medicine because there’s always something new to learn. Helping animals heal, feel better, and comforting their humans along the way is incredibly rewarding.

In her free time, Michelle enjoys painting, reading, and watching films. She shares her home with a Shichon named Mateo and an orange long-haired cat named Sebastian.

Receptionist

Alissa is one of our receptionists here at Ansonia Seymour Veterinary Hospital. She has been in the practice since June 2021 and attended Ansonia High School. She prides herself in creating a welcoming environment for clients and their pets as well as forming a professional bond. In her free time, she enjoys napping, and spending quality time with her son, Gabriel, friends, and her dog Vinny.

Receptionist

Lynn is the receptionist at Ansonia Westfield Veterinary Hospital and has been practicing since February 2018. She prides herself in making sure clients and their pets have a welcoming and professional experience. She loves making connections with our clients and patients and guiding them with any knowledge she has from her time working with us. In her free time, she loves spending quality time with her dog Fred, exploring new restaurants and breweries with her boyfriend, and watching scary movies!

Receptionist

Courtney began her journey in veterinary medicine at just 13 years old, working alongside kennel staff. She later transitioned into technician roles and eventually moved into management. She loves making a difference in clients’ lives and building lasting relationships along the way.

In her free time, Courtney enjoys hiking and volunteering with local shelters and rescues. She shares her home with a Rottweiler named Bullet and a Boxer named Bentley.
